Employee Development

We recognise our success is down to our people. We also recognise everyone has different needs, objectives and aspirations. So we offer various ways to help you develop your technical, professional and personal skills throughout your career.

In practical terms, that means helping you build your experience, grow your knowledge and expand your skills in different ways. For example:

  • On-the-job training
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • E-learning and internal and external classroom training
  • Seminars and conferences.

THE PLACE FOR PLACEMENTS

Each year, we support three types of placement:

1.  School or college work experience placements.
2. College or university holiday placements.
3. Year-out or internship placements.

READY FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW

The type of customer we work with is changing. This means our workforce needs to change too, so we can better meet their needs and work with them more closely and collaboratively. And looking further ahead, we’re developing a pipeline of talent for the future.

HAPPY TEAMS, HAPPY CUSTOMERS

Today, our people are more collaborative and team-oriented than ever. We firmly believe in the power of cultivating a collaborative culture with a diverse mix of people with different skills, experience, and ways of tackling problems. This leads to happier staff, which leads to higher productivity, better retention, great morale, and more innovation. And for a company like us, innovation is not an option, it is a business imperative.

GIVING BACK

Redstart is all about helping communities to flourish and thrive. And we encourage our people to volunteer in their local community. Everyone who works with can take one paid day a year to volunteer. Or they can split their day into smaller chunks to help on longer-term or community-based projects.
